I've been blogging for so many years over at Livejournal and various other places. It's almost fun to look back and see how much i have changed. Kinda like re-tracing my footsteps and finding out how i got here. I'm always living in the past or too far ahead in the future. I need to look down sometime and see my feet planted on the ground. Slow down. Breathe. Step, step, step.

I'm such a day dreamer. I can spend hours staring into space, forgetting things i have just been told and constantly checking the time.
I think about what i'm making for dinner, how i'll sign my name when i get married, the names i'll call my children and how fun it will be to be a mother. I think about them calling me and saying they love me, asking me to do their hair and me teaching them how to be smart, fun and lovely.
These days seem so far away but i still spend all my time thinking about it.

I've already forgotten about this thing.

A day off work wasted at home watching youtube and drinking coffee. i could have worse vices.
I have forgotten how much i loved the cure and have spent the past few hours watching old clips.

I have spent heaps of time making cupcakes, cakes and slices that i think i need to take a break from it. I need to consume less sugar and less coffee.

I want to spend more time with friends, at markets/garage sales, getting healthy, blogging, making things, taking photos and being creative. How does this happen when work takes up the important hours of my day?

Who knew that such a pretty face could have so much talent.
I just bought as many Ryan Gosling movies as i could find on dvd. The funny thing is, when i worked at the cd/dvd shop i used to think that people who bought the notebook were sad cases. Little did i know i would be buying it too.
Now i'll make with the eye candy

Tomorrow I am going back to work. For the past 6 months i have stayed home, taking a break from it all. In that time we have relocated closer to the boy's work place. I thought it would be a good idea to wait til we had settled in until i looked for a job. So i have been playing housewife for now and it's all fun but i have gotten lazy and bored. I can't wait to go back and feel my brain working again.

I'm not much of a sport fan at all, infact, i actually dislike sport. However, for the past few nights i have been staying up late to watch the Australian Open Tennis Finals.
All i can say is that Rafael Nadal rules! This guy plays epic tennis and i think that Federer's time i as king of the court is OVAH. I have never been on the edge of my seat as much as i was watching this game. I used to think that people shouting at the telly were crazy, well that was me last night.

Now to break out the Wii and practice my volleys.

First i'll start with introducing myself.
I am Stacy, i'm a vegan, i like to bake and make lots of yummy things. I also like to try to sew and stencil and try my hand at other crafty things. I like reading and I have just started a book club with a friend. One day i'd like to be a mommy and have lots of kids running around my house.
